Still here...

Yes, I'm still here. Just haven't been doing much in the SCA lately. At least nothing to report. My last semi-major project was Isolda's Sideless Surcoat (see below). Other than that, I haven't done much, or been really excited to do anything.

More and more I find it harder to get excited about doing stuff in the SCA. I think a lot has to do with the "month-o-hell" I just went through personally and mundanely. Going through some of that stuff, makes the SCA seem so trivial.

I still want to play, and I still want to be a Knight and King someday, but right now, it just seems so far away. Besides M&M, I haven't been to a SCA event since Coronation. And I haven't suited-up and fought since maybe 12th Night? I don't remember.

It isn't that I have lost my desire. I still want to play, and I still think about it a lot. It's just that it has taken a backseat to other things. And (un)fortunately my time with the SCA has been hit the most. And it's not like this is new for me or the SCA. Countless people have put the SCA on the back burner because of life's issues.

I am still here, but just slower and less active. I've taken some time off, some not by choice. But I am going to reboot and delve back in soon. I'm building my shop right now. I plan on making some repairs to my armor, and making some new armor for myself. I still plan on fighting in Crown. I will get back into the fight.
